Meadow Mushrooms Celebrates 40 years!
Meadow Mushrooms celebrated a Grand Opening & our 40th Anniversary on Wednesday 16th February 2011. This event was attended by many dignitaries, special invitees, customers, suppliers, & friends of Meadow Mushrooms, who all appreciated the opportunity to view our expansions. Thank you to all who attended and offered congratulations & support.

Grande Entree - a Historical Look
The Meadow Mushrooms Grande Entree is a special competition for cafes & restaurants, incorporating mushrooms into their fabulous entrees. Traditionally held in March, this competition garners a large amount of interest, with many a battle fought over the various titles. And the winner is...the mushroom!
Conceived in 2001, Grande Entree has had the best of Christchurch restauranteurs & chefs participating each year that it has been held.
Though the 2011 Christchurch Grande Entree was cancelled due to the Christchurch Earthquake on 22nd February 2011, there was a great number of entrants prior to this event. We look forward to taking this event to the public again in the near future, and further developing the creative use of the humble mushroom in our restaurant experiences.
