There are many types of mushrooms most of which only grow wild although an increasing number are becoming commercially cultivated. The three types we grow at Meadow Mushrooms are all from the same family. This family is Agaricus Bisporus. The whites and browns differ in that they are different strains of the same family. This is further explained below.
