Small Portabello

Small Portabello mushrooms are Portabello mushrooms that are picked just before they are fully grown.  They can be eaten raw, but also add a stronger mushroom flavour to cooked dishes.  They are fantastic for stuffing with ingredients like ricotta cheese, chilli, fresh oregano and parmesan cheese and are just the perfect size to sit beside or on top of a juicy steak or on toast for breakfast. Like all mushrooms, Portabellos are rich in selenium and the B vitamin group - a 100gm handful will give you 100% of your daily vitamin B7 needs, 33% of selenium, and 61% of niacin.
