Meadow Mushrooms first crowd-sourced label design

Meadow Mushrooms have launched a crowd-sourced design competition for their new season’s mushroom labels. 

We are super-proud of our pre-packed mushrooms - loaded with hand-picked NZ mushrooms, they help protect your mushrooms and keep them fresh, come in home compostable/recyclable cardboard trays, our film is recyclable and we feature our fun ‘inspiration labels’. Our inspiration labels were were created with the feedback of our mushroom fans who told us what they like to use our mushrooms for and how we can help inspire them at mealtimes, so we added these as a feature to our new packs.

Meadow Mushroom's labels feature prominent ideas to inspire Kiwi meal-times and help less confident mushroom users and include - PASTA, PIZZA, STIR-FRY and STUFFING. This summer we are launching our ‘Summer Inspiration labels’ which highlight top ideas for keeping mushrooms in your diet for health and flavour during the kiwi summer.

To help with the new designs we have launched four projects, each to design a NEW label that will work with our existing suite of labels/products but also add a little summer sparkle and a bit of kiwi inspiration. Once launched, packs will be available in leading supermarkets around the country.

We would love for any kiwi designers or mushroom fans to get involved and share their take on summer inspiration for mushrooms.
