TERMS & CONDITIONS

Promoter: Meadow Mushrooms Limited (“Meadow”, “we”, “us” or “our”)

Competition: Most Mushroom Obsessed Creator Competition (“Competition”)

Competition Period: 26 October 2026 to 22 November 2026

Winner Announcement: The winner will be announced during the first week of December 2026.

1. About the Competition

1.1 Meadow Mushrooms is looking for New Zealand’s Most Mushroom Obsessed Creator.

1.2 The Competition provides eligible New Zealand-based creators with the opportunity to showcase their creativity, passion for mushrooms and content creation.

1.3 The winner will receive a 12-month creator partnership with Meadow, including a creator services agreement valued at NZD $20,000, together with additional prizes as outlined in these Terms and Conditions.

1.4 By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Competition Dates

2.1 The Competition opens at 12:00am NZST on 12 October 2026.

2.2 The Competition closes at 11:59pm NZST on 9 November 2026.

2.3 Entries received after the closing time will not be accepted.

2.4 Meadow may, at its discretion, extend or vary the Competition dates where circumstances outside its reasonable control require it to do so.

3. Eligibility

3.1 The Competition is open to individuals who:

  • are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry;
  • are a New Zealand resident;
  • are based in New Zealand during 2026;
  • maintain a public Instagram and/or TikTok account;
  • are available and legally able to enter into the 12-month creator partnership described in these Terms and Conditions; and
  • meet all other entry requirements.

3.2 Employees of Meadow Mushrooms Limited, its related companies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter where they are directly involved in administering or judging the Competition.

3.3 Meadow reserves the right to request reasonable evidence of an entrant’s age, identity and New Zealand residency.

4. How to Enter

To enter, an entrant must:

  • create an original piece of Meadow Mushroom-related content;
  • publish the content to their public Instagram and/or TikTok account during the Competition Period;
  • tag @MeadowMushrooms in the relevant post or invite us to collaborate on post;
  • register the yourself through the designated Competition registration page on the Meadow Mushrooms website; and
  • provide all information requested on the entry form.

The registration form may require:

  • Full name;
  • Email address;
  • Phone number;
  • Instagram username;
  • TikTok username, where applicable;
  • Link to the relevant social media post;
  • A short statement explaining why the entrant considers themselves New Zealand’s Most Mushroom Obsessed Creator; and
  • Confirmation that the entrant meets the eligibility requirements.

5. Multiple Entries

5.1 Entrants may submit multiple entries during the Competition Period.

5.2 Each entry must:

  • contain original content; and
  • comply with these Terms and Conditions.

5.3 Meadow reserves the right to reject duplicate, substantially identical or spam entries.

6. Entry Requirements

6.1 Entries must be relevant to mushrooms and demonstrate the entrant’s passion, creativity or enthusiasm for mushrooms.

6.2 Content may include, but is not limited to:

  • Mushroom recipes;
  • Cooking videos;
  • Mushroom tips or hacks;
  • Educational content;
  • Mushroom-related entertainment;
  • Food and lifestyle content;
  • Creative mushroom content;
  • Stories about the entrant’s love of mushrooms; or
  • Other original content that demonstrates the entrant’s mushroom obsession.

6.3 Entries must not:

  • contain unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene or offensive material;
  • promote illegal activities;
  • contain hate speech or discriminatory material;
  • contain unsafe or dangerous behaviour;
  • infringe another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other intellectual property rights;
  • contain content that the entrant does not have permission to publish; or
  • otherwise breach applicable laws or social media platform rules.

7. Original Content

7.1 Entries must be original content created by the entrant during the Competition Period.

7.2 Entrants must own or have obtained all necessary rights, permissions and consents required to publish their entry.

7.3 Entrants must not submit content created by another person or copied from another creator.

7.4 Where another person appears recognisably in an entry, the entrant is responsible for obtaining that person’s permission for the content to be published and used in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

7.5 Meadow may request evidence that an entrant owns or has permission to use submitted content.

8. Public Social Media Accounts

8.1 The Instagram and/or TikTok account used to enter must be publicly accessible during the Competition Period and throughout the judging process.

8.2 Meadow must be able to view the submitted entry.

8.3 If an entrant makes their account private, deletes the entry or otherwise prevents Meadow from accessing the entry before judging is complete, Meadow may deem the entry invalid.

9. New Zealand Residency and Location

9.1 Entrants must be New Zealand residents and must be based in New Zealand during competition period and for 2027.

9.2 Meadow may request reasonable evidence to verify an entrant’s New Zealand residency or location.

9.3 Meadow reserves the right to disqualify an entrant where it reasonably believes the entrant does not meet this requirement.

10. Invalid Entries

Meadow may reject or declare invalid any entry that:

  • is submitted after the Competition closes;
  • does not meet the entry requirements;
  • contains false, incomplete or misleading information;
  • is submitted by an ineligible person;
  • cannot be accessed or verified;
  • contains content that breaches these Terms and Conditions; or
  • Meadow reasonably believes has been submitted fraudulently or through manipulation of the Competition.

11. Judging Criteria

11.1 Entries will be judged based on the following criteria:

11.2 Follower numbers will not, in themselves, determine the winner.

11.3 Meadow is looking for a creator who demonstrates genuine passion for mushrooms and has the potential to authentically represent Meadow Mushrooms.

12. Judging Panel

12.1 Entries will be assessed by a judging panel appointed by Meadow.

12.2 The judging panel may include representatives from Meadow Mushrooms and independent representatives from the food, marketing, media or content creation industries.

12.3 Meadow reserves the right to change or replace members of the judging panel where necessary.

12.4 The judges’ decisions are final, subject to applicable New Zealand law.

13. Shortlisting Process

13.1 Following the Competition closing date, Meadow will review all eligible entries.

13.2 Meadow may initially shortlist up to 20 entrants.

13.3 From the initial shortlist, Meadow intends to select five finalists.

13.4 The number of finalists may be changed at Meadow’s discretion where necessary.

13.5 Finalists will be selected based on the judging criteria outlined in Section 11.

14. Finalist Process

14.1 Selected finalists may be asked to complete an additional content challenge.

14.2 The finalist challenge may require each finalist to create an additional piece of mushroom-related content demonstrating why they should become Meadow’s Most Mushroom Obsessed Creator.

14.3 Finalists will be provided with reasonable instructions and a deadline for completing the challenge.

14.4 Meadow may feature finalists and their entries across its social media and marketing channels.

15. Winner Selection

15.1 One overall winner will be selected by the judging panel.

15.2 The winner will be selected based on the overall quality of their Competition entries, finalist content where applicable, and their suitability for the 12-month Meadow creator partnership.

15.3 The winner does not have to have the largest social media following.

15.4 Meadow may request additional information from the proposed winner to verify eligibility and their ability to fulfil the creator partnership.

15.5 If the judging panel determines that no finalist adequately meets the required standard, Meadow reserves the right not to award the creator partnership and/or to select another eligible finalist.

16. Winner Notification

16.1 The winner will be contacted using the contact details provided during registration.

16.2 Meadow will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner.

16.3 If the winner cannot be contacted within five business days, fails to respond, is found to be ineligible or cannot fulfil the creator partnership, Meadow may select another finalist as the winner.

16.4 Meadow may require the winner to sign the formal Meadow Mushrooms Creator Agreement before the $20,000 creator fee is paid.

17. Winner Announcement

17.1 The winner is expected to be announced during the first week of December 2026.

17.2 The winner may be announced across Meadow’s social media channels, website, public relations activity and other marketing channels.

17.3 By entering, entrants acknowledge that if they become a finalist or winner, Meadow may publicly identify them by their name and/or social media username.

18. Prize

The winner will receive a prize package valued at $30,000+, comprising:

A. $20,000 Meadow Creator Partnership

A 12-month creator services agreement with Meadow Mushrooms valued at:

NZD $20,000 + GST where applicable.

The creator partnership will include:

  • A 12-month relationship with Meadow Mushrooms;
  • Two videos per month;
  • A minimum of 24 videos over the 12-month term;
  • Content featuring Meadow Mushrooms and/or its products;
  • Participation in agreed Meadow campaigns and activities;
  • Reasonable cooperation with Meadow’s content and marketing requirements; and
  • Content usage rights as outlined in the Creator Agreement.

B. 12 Months of Meadow Mushrooms

The winner will receive a supply of Meadow Mushrooms for their content creation requirements for the 12-month creator partnership, subject to reasonable quantities being agreed with Meadow.

C. Flights & Accommodation to Auckland Mushroom Festival 2027

The prize may include flights and accommodation to the Auckland Mushroom Festival in 2027. Along with entry to all the ticketed events part of the festival. Estimated value $2,000

D. Kitchen Prize Pack

The prize may include a kitchen prize pack valued at approximately $2,500, subject to Meadow securing suitable prize partner(s).

19. $20,000 Creator Payment

19.1 The $20,000 creator partnership fee is payment for the services and content deliverables provided by the winner under the 12-month Creator Agreement.

19.2 The preferred payment structure is:

$1,666.67 + GST per month for 12 months, where the Creator is registered for GST.

19.3 Payments will be made following receipt of a valid invoice and subject to the Creator meeting the agreed monthly deliverables.

19.4 The $20,000 fee is not payable as a lump-sum cash prize unless otherwise agreed in writing.

19.5 The Creator will be required to enter into Meadow’s formal Creator Agreement before commencing the partnership.

20. 12-Month Creator Agreement

20.1 The winner must enter into Meadow’s formal 12-month Creator Agreement.

20.2 The Creator Agreement will contain further details regarding:

  • Content requirements;
  • Monthly deliverables;
  • Payment;
  • Content approval;
  • Intellectual property;
  • Content licensing;
  • Brand guidelines;
  • Confidentiality;
  • Exclusivity;
  • Advertising disclosures;
  • Termination; and
  • Other matters relevant to the creator relationship.

20.3 The Creator Agreement forms an important part of the Competition prize.

21. 24-Video Requirement

21.1 The winner must create a minimum of 24 videos during the 12-month partnership.

21.2 The expected content schedule is two videos per month.

21.3 Content themes may include recipes, mushroom inspiration, education, lifestyle, seasonal content, Meadow campaigns and other agreed content.

21.4 Meadow will work with the Creator to develop a reasonable content calendar.

21.5 Where the Creator is unable to create content due to illness, emergency or another reasonable circumstance, the Parties will work together to reschedule the relevant content.

21.6 Repeated failure to deliver the agreed content may constitute a breach of the Creator Agreement.

22. Content Rights and Licensing

22.1 The Creator retains ownership of their original intellectual property and personal brand.

22.2 By entering the Competition, entrants grant Meadow a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to repost and share their Competition entry for the purposes of promoting the Competition and Meadow Mushrooms.

22.3 For the winner, the formal Creator Agreement will provide Meadow with additional rights to use content created during the 12-month partnership.

22.4 Meadow may use winner content across:

  • Instagram;
  • TikTok;
  • Facebook;
  • Meadow’s website;
  • Email marketing;
  • Digital advertising;
  • Paid social advertising;
  • Public relations;
  • Retail presentations;
  • Trade presentations; and
  • Other Meadow-owned marketing channels.

22.5 Meadow may crop, resize, edit or adapt content where reasonably necessary for different marketing formats, provided such use does not materially misrepresent the Creator.

23. Social Media Disclosure Requirements

23.1 The winner and finalists must comply with all applicable advertising laws, regulations, industry codes and social media platform requirements.

23.2 Where required, the Creator must clearly disclose their commercial relationship with Meadow.

23.3 Appropriate disclosures may include paid partnership tools, #ad, #sponsored or other legally appropriate disclosures.

23.4 Meadow may provide reasonable guidance regarding required advertising disclosures.

24. Privacy and Data Collection

24.1 Meadow will collect personal information provided by entrants for the purposes of administering the Competition.

24.2 This may include:

  • Name;
  • Email address;
  • Phone number;
  • Social media usernames;
  • Social media content;
  • Entry information; and
  • Information required to verify eligibility.

24.3 Personal information may be used to:

  • Administer the Competition;
  • Contact entrants;
  • Verify eligibility;
  • Select and contact finalists and the winner;
  • Deliver prizes;
  • Enter into the Creator Agreement;
  • Promote the Competition; and
  • Meet legal and regulatory requirements.

24.4 Meadow will handle personal information in accordance with applicable New Zealand privacy legislation.

24.5 Entrants may contact Meadow regarding their personal information in accordance with Meadow’s applicable privacy policy.

25. Use of Entrant Names, Images and Content

25.1 By entering, entrants consent to Meadow using their name, social media username, entry content and publicly available profile image for the purpose of promoting the Competition and Meadow Mushrooms.

25.2 Meadow may repost or share eligible Competition entries on its social media channels and other owned marketing platforms.

25.3 Meadow will not use an entrant’s Competition entry for unrelated commercial purposes beyond the Competition and associated promotional activity without obtaining any additional permissions required by law.

25.4 Finalists and the winner may be asked to participate in reasonable promotional activity relating to the Competition.

26. Disqualification

26.1 Meadow may disqualify an entrant if Meadow reasonably believes that the entrant:

  • has breached these Terms and Conditions;
  • has provided false or misleading information;
  • has manipulated or attempted to manipulate the Competition;
  • has submitted fraudulent or ineligible entries;
  • does not meet the eligibility requirements; or
  • has engaged in conduct that would make their participation inappropriate or likely to cause serious reputational harm to Meadow.

26.2 Meadow may require an entrant to provide reasonable evidence supporting their eligibility.

27. Verification of Eligibility

27.1 Meadow reserves the right to verify the identity, age, residency, social media account and eligibility of any entrant or finalist.

27.2 Meadow may request reasonable supporting evidence.

27.3 If an entrant does not provide requested evidence within a reasonable timeframe, Meadow may declare their entry invalid.

28. Winner Unable to Fulfil Creator Agreement

28.1 The winner must be reasonably available to fulfil the 12-month Creator Agreement.

28.2 If the winner is unable or unwilling to enter into the Creator Agreement, Meadow may withdraw the prize and select another finalist.

28.3 If the winner becomes unable to fulfil the Creator Agreement after the partnership has commenced, the matter will be dealt with under the termination provisions of the Creator Agreement.

28.4 Meadow may cease future payments where the Creator Agreement is terminated due to the Creator’s material breach, subject to the terms of the Creator Agreement and applicable law.

29. Prize Substitution

29.1 Meadow reserves the right to substitute any non-cash prize with another prize of equal or greater value where the original prize is unavailable or circumstances outside Meadow’s reasonable control require a substitution.

29.2 Any grocery vouchers or kitchen prizes supplied by third-party partners are subject to availability and the relevant partner’s terms.

29.3 Meadow is not responsible for the actions, availability or failure of a third-party prize partner.

30. No Cash Alternative for Partner Prizes

30.1 Where supplied by a third-party partner, these prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.

30.2 Meadow may substitute a partner prize with another prize of equal or greater value where reasonably necessary.

31. Tax

31.1 The winner is responsible for determining and meeting any tax obligations arising from the prize or creator partnership.

31.2 Meadow recommends that the winner obtains independent professional tax advice regarding the $20,000 creator partnership and any other prize received.

31.3 Where applicable, GST will be handled in accordance with New Zealand law and the Creator’s GST registration status.

32. Competition Cancellation or Variation

32.1 Meadow reserves the right to cancel, suspend, extend or modify the Competition where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.

32.2 Where reasonably practicable, Meadow will communicate any material changes through its website and/or social media channels.

32.3 Meadow will not make changes for the purpose of unfairly disadvantaging a particular entrant.

33. Limitation of Responsibility

33.1 Meadow is not responsible for:

  • Lost or incomplete entries;
  • Technical failures;
  • Website outages;
  • Social media platform outages;
  • Incorrect contact details supplied by entrants;
  • Content deleted or made inaccessible by an entrant;
  • Third-party prize partner issues outside Meadow’s reasonable control; or
  • Circumstances beyond Meadow’s reasonable control.

33.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under New Zealand law.

34. Instagram and TikTok Disclaimer

34.1 This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook or TikTok.

34.2 Entrants acknowledge that they are providing their information to Meadow Mushrooms and not to Instagram, Facebook or TikTok.

34.3 Instagram, Facebook and TikTok are released from any liability relating to the administration of this Competition to the extent permitted by law.

35. New Zealand Law

35.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

35.2 The Competition is subject to applicable New Zealand laws and regulations.

36. Acceptance

By submitting an entry, the entrant confirms that:

  • They have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions;
  • They meet the eligibility requirements;
  • Their entry is original;
  • They have the necessary rights and permissions relating to their entry;
  • The information provided is accurate; and
  • If selected as the winner, they are willing and able to enter into the 12-month Meadow Mushrooms Creator Agreement.
